Questions
What is LingoVale?
LingoVale is a game for learning Spanish. You move to a little Spanish town as its new mayor, chat with the townsfolk in everyday Spanish, and each conversation helps bring the town back to life. Every line is spoken aloud.
Is it for complete beginners?
Yes. It starts from your very first ¡hola! and teaches the phrases you need as you go. Ten minutes a day is plenty.
How is it different from Duolingo?
LingoVale is built around conversations rather than exercises. You learn Spanish by using it, ordering a coffee, asking what something costs, chatting with the people you meet, and what you learn rebuilds the town around you, so you can see how far you have come.
Can I try it free?
Yes. You can play the start free in your browser, with no sign-up, on your phone or computer.
How much will it cost?
The Mayor plan will be £7.99 a month, or £49 a year. Plans are coming soon. Join the waiting list and we'll tell you when your place is ready.
Which languages can I learn?
Spanish first. More languages will follow, and Mayor members get each one as it arrives.
